you need to checkout all source code if you want to build it:

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous_at_cvs.extreme.indiana.edu:/l/extreme/cvspub login
CVS password: cvsanon

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous_at_cvs.extreme.indiana.edu:/l/extreme/cvspub co xsul/java

and then use ant to build xwsif - if you look into output and/or
build.xml you can find which modules are required to build xwsif client
or server side.

i think only xpp3 but all other dependency libs for more complex modules
are in CVS as well
