I do a fair amount of stuff with inkscape.. I could probably give a
presentation on it. Autotrace is built into inkscape and is pretty easy
to use, provided that your starting material isnt too messy. Scribus,
qcad, and gimp also have their uses.

I also need to mess around with vector formats for making printed circuit
boards. HPGL, RS-274X, postscript, dxf.
Postscript is fun to play with too, for highly algorithmic stuff. i.e:

I would probably need someone else to provide a computer for the
presentation, as my laptop is too slow for this stuff.
