Not to dump on the person who posted this article or belittle them or  
anything like that, but John Dvorak, the guy who wrote this article,  
has I believe confessed to coming up with provocative subjects and  
saying crazy things to draw attention to himself and his articles.

I haven't had a chance to really dig into the article yet, but I  
thought I would share with you my opinion that just about everything  
of Dvoark's I've read in the past has made me believe that he is bat  
shit crazy, the Bill O'Reilly of IT writing.

Just my two cents/knee jerk reaction, not commenting on his opinions  
in this article =)
