Very simple, once you know about it, and it certainly is more intuitive than what I'm used to doing on Microsoft OS's. Now I'll just need to work on it being more automatic "<alt+162>Damnit, I forgot that doesn't work, let's see, it was....<Super_R+',o>"...

I was wrong, which shows how often I've used those features. When I
checked out the Mini-Howto that Michael Schultheiss mentioned
(http://www.cinlug.org/files/education/spanish_key_mini_HOWTO.html), it
pointed to the plain X11 tool to use: xmodmap.

If plain X11 does not support a Compose key (which it may not), then it
may still be valid resource.
