Actually, this reminds me of the first Bring Your Own Bug last Fall. The
elderly gentleman had a problem with his computer being too slow. If I
remember right, it was an Ubuntu install. Someone changed an
APIC (or was it APCI?) setting in CMOS and it ran fine afterwards.
